L’Auteiro is the last neighborhood of Valle de Lago and here you can find the only functioning teite mill that remains. It is an old hydraulic mill with a vegetable roof (teito de escoba) in a perfect state of conservation and that, in spite of its antiquity, still works and mills grain for the enjoyment of its visitors.
Activities
Guided tour of the mill including demonstration of operation and grain milling.
Schedules
Visits should be arranged by telephone in advance and preferably in the afternoons between 5:00 and 8:00 pm.
