This Web Site has been created by the City Council of Somiedo (hereinafter, the City Council), in order to bring the institution closer to the citizens, providing them with information about its structure, operation and offering them the possibility of carrying out electronic procedures with the City Council.

The information appearing on the Web Site is current as of the date of its last update. The City Council reserves the right to update, modify or delete such information, and may limit or deny access to this Web Site. Likewise, it reserves the right to make, at any time and without prior notice, as many changes and modifications as it deems appropriate.

Formal or numerical errors that may be found throughout the content of the different sections of the Web Site, produced as a result of incomplete or defective maintenance and/or updating of the information contained in this Web Site, shall not be considered as misleading advertising. The City Council of Somiedo is responsible for the treatment of cookies on the website, own and third parties, which allow to improve the functionality of the sections and elements present, as well as the provision of services offered on our website.

What is a cookie?

Configure browsers

Google Chrome

Go to Settings or Preferences via the File menu or by clicking on the customization icon at the top right (three vertical dots). You will see different sections, click on the Show advanced options or Advanced Settings option. Go to Privacy and Security, Content settings.

Select All cookies and site data. By default you can set your browser to block cookies. All you have to do is to define with blocking.

You can also filter by View all cookies and all website data. A list will appear with all the cookies ordered by domain, being able to filter by search engine. Now all you have to do is select or block the cookies you want.

Microsoft Internet Explorer

When you open the browser, go to tools at the top and select the internet options tab. Check the Privacy tab making sure it is set to medium or lower security level. If the Internet configuration is not average, cookies will be blocked.

Mozilla Firefox

When you open the browser, click on tools at the top. In more advanced versions, it may appear as three lines in the upper right-hand side of the browser. Select the options tab. Select the Privacy & Security icon. Click on cookies, and site data. Select the options presented according to your preferences – clear data, data manager, exceptions. You can accept, leave predefined until when to keep, or block cookies.

Safari

When you open the browser, click on tools at the top and select the options tab. Click on the Security tab and check if the Block cookies option is checked or unchecked. Click on save.

Microsoft Internet Explorer OSX

Go to “Explorer” and select “Preferences” in the navigation bar. By scrolling down you will see “Cookies” under received files. Check “Do not ask again”.

Safari on OSX

Enter the Safari browser and select “Preferences” in the navigation bar. Go to the “Security” tab and use the “accept cookies” option. Select the option: “Only from the current site I am browsing”.

Mozilla and Netscape on OSX

Access “Mozilla” or “Netscape” and at the top of the browser, you will see the “Preferences” option. Scroll down until you can see “Cookies” under “Privacy and Security”. Use the option “Allow cookies access only from the current site”.

Opera

Enter the Opera” browser and select “Menu” and “Settings” in the navigation bar. Select “Preferences” and use the “Advanced” tab. Use the “Accept cookies” option.

Android devices: launch the browser and press the “Menu” key, then “Settings”. Go to “Security and Privacy”, and go to the “Accept cookies” option to check or uncheck the box.

Apple devices: to enable or disable Safari cookie blocking, tap Settings > Safari > Block all cookies.

Are you familiar with tracking technologies?
