An electric bicycle or E-bike is a bicycle with pedal assistance.
On E-bikes, when you stop pedaling the bike will stop assisting you, because an electric bike cannot have a throttle like a motorcycle. It will also stop assisting when you exceed the maximum allowed speed of 25 km/h for these vehicles.
