Unos sustratos que dan cuenta, primero, acerca del clima y el tipo de organismos que viv\u00edan en la costa del antiguo continente Gondwana, que \u201ca medida que se desplazaba del Polo Sur al Ecuador, en la Era Primaria o Paleozoico, hace 300 millones de a\u00f1os, colision\u00f3 con otro de menores dimensiones, Laurasia, dando lugar al supercontinente Pangea\u201d, explica. Tambi\u00e9n creando los pliegues y deformaciones de las rocas que vemos en Somiedo.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Pero Pangea pronto comenz\u00f3 a fragmentarse en los actuales continentes, detalla, un momento en el que tambi\u00e9n se crearon multitud de dep\u00f3sitos de diversas sustancias debido \u201ca la apertura del Atl\u00e1ntico, con grandes fracturas a lo largo de las cu\u00e1les ascendieron fluidos de partes muy profundas de la corteza terrestre generando multitud de yacimientos de diversas sustancias de los que tenemos un ejemplo en la mina de hierro de Saliencia\u201d. Una zona caracter\u00edstica por el color rojizo del terreno. En ese suceso geol\u00f3gico tambi\u00e9n se formaron las cordilleras de la pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica, como la Cant\u00e1brica, que es \u201cel relieve actual que tenemos\u201d.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Farias apunta que en Somiedo tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n reflejadas evidencias de climas pasados como las glaciaciones, en las que se produjeron los actuales circos y valles glaciares como los lagos de Saliencia.
